Self Kindness Sanctuary: An Evening of Firelight, Peace & Surrender
As the Autumn evenings draw in, it is so easy to stay trapped inside our busy thinking minds, carrying the weight of to-do lists, "shoulds," and "must-dos."
This 1-hour evening gathering around the fire pit - set out in the open meadow with the dark silhouette of the trees rising in the distance - is your invitation to safely put all of that down.
There is something special about being outside in the dark. Wrapped up warm, with a vast, starry sky above you and the quiet night sounds all around, it offers a rare chance to truly unplug. You never quite know what you might hear or notice in the stillness: perhaps the rustle of the evening breeze, the crackle of the fire, or the call of an owl in the distance.
This is a fully held, gentle space to relax and unwind. There is no expectation on you, no need to talk or perform, and zero pressure. Just an hour to wrap yourself in a blanket, gaze into the flames, and surrender to the quiet of the night.
What to expect:
- The Torchlight Walk: A gentle, mindful walk together from the car park through the dark woods to the meadow.
- A Safe, Held Space: A cozy, welcoming circle around the fire pit, framed by the trees and open to the night sky.
- Guided Relaxation & Reflection: A soothing introduction to help you let go of the day, drop your shoulders, and engage your senses in the here and now, with the option to symbolically surrender what you no longer need into the fire.
- Nourishment: A steaming hot drink to hold in your hands while you let the world fade away for an hour.
In the dark and the quiet of the evening, there is a magic in allowing yourself to pause. Come as you are, wrap up warmly, and let the fire hold you for a while.
